I am committed to providing clear, accessible information about the cost of counseling services. Please review the following details about payment, insurance, and policies.
Free 15-Minute Consultation
Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your child, or a loved one, we offer a free 15-minute consultation to help you explore counseling options and get the support your family may need.
No pressure — just a chance to ask questions, share concerns, and see if we’re the right fit for your needs.
Sessions and Payment:
Individual counseling sessions will be 30-60 minutes in duration. Payment is due at the time of service. These fees must be paid in the form of cash, credit card or secure electronic payment. I offer a few sliding scale openings to help make services more accessible. If cost is a concern, you're welcome to reach out and we can explore what might work for you.
Insurance
I am currently in network with Aetna, Community Health Options and United Behavioral Health. I am also accepting private pay at this time. I am in the process of becoming in-network with other select insurance providers and will update this site as that changes.
Cancellation & Late Policy
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, may be subject to a late cancellation fee, which is not covered by insurance.
Confidentiality
Confidentiality is the foundation of the counseling relationship. Your privacy is protected by law and by professional ethics. Everything shared in session is kept strictly confidential, with a few legal exceptions:
If there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others
If there is suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or vulnerable adult
If records are subpoenaed by a court of law
Outside of these exceptions, your personal information will never be shared without your written consent. If you have questions about confidentiality or how your information is protected in telehealth sessions, I’d be happy to discuss further.
No Surprises Act Notice
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. If you are uninsured or choosing not to use insurance, you are entitled to receive this estimate in writing before your services begin.
